My mom lives so far out in the country that she doesn’t have access to too many things. The closest grocery store is about 50 miles away from her house. I don’t know how she does it, but she loves it out there. I could never be that far away from convenience! The utility company doesn’t even offer internet connections out there, so she had to get wild blue satellite internet to keep in touch. I will never understand why after so many years of living in Chicago mom felt like she needed to move to the country. She raised my sisters and I to be city girls through and through, and then all of a sudden she was sick of the lifestyle. I’m supportive of her decisions as long as they make her happy. She comes to see us pretty often anyways, so the way I see it, she gets the best of both worlds. She has her peaceful country life, and then she can come and see her children and grandchildren in Chicago whenever she wants to get back to the faster pace.

I visited my sister last weekend. We live about four hours away from each other. She recently moved to Atlanta after she got a job with a law firm there. I was really proud of her because she had already landed the job before she graduated from school. She decided that she was going to be making enough money that she could buy her first home. She bought a really cute bungalow that was built in the 1930s. It is perfect for her with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. She has the place decorated in a shabby chic style, which has always been her signature look. My favorite thing that she has done to her house is to get two oversized sofas for her living room. They are so comfortable. This weekend, when I visited her, the weather was nasty. We went to mall and dinner, but for most of the weekend we spent the day inside. We just sprawled out of the sofas and watched directv. It was a blissfully relaxing weekend. I hope that I get to do it again soon.

Wasn’t even sure what options i had in the area since all these providers where only in some areas, and if they were in the area they had differences from area to area. So it got confusing after a while. But DirectTV Options had what i was looking for.

Epoxy flooring is something I should have done a long time ago. Not sure why I didnt search it online sooner. But glad I did it. The cost was very minimal and applying it was very easy. But this poker thing is so addictive I wish i started it earlier. Im getting better and better at poker and you can play anytime. Usually i try to play with friends but we all have different schedules so its kind of hard to meet up when we can. But not anymore, and they can even play online. If I don’t work for that semester I can take out some of these private loans and pay whatever i need to pay for and live that semester. Of course there is a drawback of these loans since the interest rates are higher. But what can you do when you trying to do everything on your own and the only thing you can do is take out all these college loans out. But luckily I’m almost done with school and can happily start paying these loans back.
