Just another follow up, my company Indie Tech created this design. It’s a t-shirt. I would really love a proper link back and credit. I’m glad everyone is into the shirt, we’d love to be credited. Thanks!
Segways rock.. the 2nd gen or maybe the 3rd one is much better.. the turning option on the older ones was on the handle which sorta sucks.. now you just lean the main rod left or right and it turns.. much better than that really freaking sensitive handle…. but thats a great picture above…
Wow didnt think I get so many responses, but I didnt steal this image from the tshirt website, I stumbled the image and it was to a imageshack account, so I thought it was funny so I posted it
I got my beta Segway @ Northern Tool in Burnsville, MN for $20.00. Works great down hill but turning takes some skill. Looking to improve uphill and cross town performance.
Looks like something from Tom Goes to Mayor - I think that’s what it’s called… Man, I hate that show…
Anyway - thanks for the idea!! Time for some permanent injury!!!
Admin, understood you didn’t steal the image, but you could update the post with a link back to our site and a note giving us credit for the design. That would be the proper thing to do here now that you know we created it. Thanks.
I have to agree with the actual owner of the design (Burton) on this one. It’s quite obvious that everyone posting here is doing so under the impression that you created the design, which you did not. You should give proper credit.
Man, that’s great stuff. Burton… you’re such a whiny little bitch that not only am I NOT going to buy a frigging tshirt, I’m hoping this image is reproduced and spread unceremoniously all over the web, sent in emails, and used for homemade items. In fact, everyone here should make a whole load of tshirt iron-ons and give them away for free to total strangers at every opportunity. I’m off to get some iron-on materials.
Love the beta model. I have tried that model myself and ended up hitting my shins on the stand, ouch. I never knew there was still so much interest in the Segway until I Googled it.
[…] I started to poke around the net regarding the Segway. I ran across a blog entry that featured a photo of the Segway Beta. This was a humorous mock-up showing a man riding a hand cart backward. The idea tickled my fancy […]

Hey guys, this is a t-shirt my company created. He got the image from the product page: http://www.bluecollardistro.com/indietech/product_info.php?products_id=1721&cPath=387_388&store=1
I’m stoked everyone thinks it’s so funny, could you possibly link the picture to the shirt so people aren’t confused?
